Writing this so quickly before I go to my shift at the print shop. I’ve been working 8 hour shifts this week to cover my coworkers, which means it’s been several days since I was last able to sit at my desk and draw. And it will be several more! I’m going to Seattle for Emerald City, and I’m so so so so happy. I love this show. So let me get you up to speed with everything that I’ve got going on before I get on that train:

Emerald City Comic Con 2025

The best show of the year is here!! I’ll have How Could You, Heave and Thaw, and Amira the Van Life Cunt Issue 1, along with some… good fortune? You’ll have to stop by and find out what that’s all about.

Thursday morning I’ll be at Elliott Bay, just dropping in to sign books quickly before running to my table. So if you’re looking for me right at opening, En will be there to assist, but I’ll be back for the afternoon and locked behind the table allllll weekend!

I’ll be at table F-19 with En Nelson-Correia. Cam McCafferty and Katie Berntsen will be at F-20, Fawnduu will be at F-18, and Misha and Tay Kovac (my beloved letterer of How Could You) will be at F-17. More shoutouts to Jax (aka gildedruin) at D-03, Fend (Fine OK press) at E-13, and Lemon (of Sonny’s House fame) at F-24. Too many friends, I’m sure I’m not even getting everyone. Take your time walking through artist alley, this show is the best of the best.

Sonny’s House x Dedmal Collective

I got invited to participate in this extremely epic collaboration between Dedmal Collective and Sonny’s House. From mid Feb to the end of March, you can catch a ton of cool animal art on display at Sonny’s House. I’m contributing a lino print (my first time ever working in the medium). I printed 10 total and there will only be 10 total in the world forever. This show is only up for March, and then it’s gone.

We’re also coming to SoCal and Chicago!

I’ll also be at TCAF and Anime Expo this summer. Yay!

What else did I do this month, hmm…

I did a reading at Secret Room (read all about it on the blog). It was a really beautiful night, and I had so much fun. I feel incredibly blessed and honored. I won’t go on about it here because you can read it on my blog!

Over Valentine’s weekend, I went to upstate New York to stay with my friends and have a big sleepover! We did muscly dykely things like get high and lift weights in the basement and frolic in the snow and eat hot pot. I love my friends forever.

And uhhh yeah! I dunno, I worked a lot. I went to the new manga cafe opening. I am looking forward to spring and being outside and going to the park and going hiking. I’ll have more to say after ECCC and Wondercon. But for now, I leave to work on my webcomic.
