One month until... you know
It's almost time!
In exactly one month, How Could You comes out everywhere. My debut graphic novel! Holy moly! I hope you enjoy this juicy collection of toxic lesbian gossip drama. I began work on How Could You in early 2020 and finished it in early 2024. That’s a long ass time to work on something, and now in just one month, it’ll be out in the world, running around. I’m a little petrified of releasing my book into the wild, and I wrote a blog post about that feeling. All the same, please enjoy and look forward to what comes next with me!
I hope to have early access copies of How Could You at CALA next month in LA, Dec 14-15. I’ll have print copies of Amira the Van Life Cunt (Issue 1) and Heave and Thaw. I don’t plan on making those widely available until next year, so if you’re in Los Angeles, please come to CALA! I’m not in California for events too often, so it feels very special. En and I will be at table 17A. See you there!
Amira Mail Club
This month’s Patreon mail club rewards are Amira Miles themed! All mail club rewards are printed locally here in Portland OR. Join here so I can send you these treats. October and November rewards will be sent out at the end of the month.

She’s here! She’s getting on the road in January and coming straight to your house. Pre-order your copy of Amira issue 1 and enjoy the ride ;) Grown ups only!!
Issue 2 of Amira is well underway. You can get a sneak peek on Patreon for Horn Dog tiers and up.
The Shepherd’s Sword
The Shepherd’s Sword has a new home online! You can read (and subscribe) at theshepherdssword.com to get every weekly update emailed to you. Never miss an update! This is also where I’ll post extras like character bios. I’m still working out all the specifics, so get in now to see this website at its weirdest.
What else did I do this month, hmm…
I did my annual Lord of the Rings marathon with my friends. It’s my favorite holiday. We gather online from around the world and each make a special charcuterie board so we can lock in and draw while watching all three films (extended editions). It’s an extremely cozy tradition that I look forward to every year.
Apart from that, I have been working on a short one-shot NSFW comic for an online publisher. More on that to come soon. I’m also working on a commission and FINALLY finishing my pitch for my next big thing. This is the sowing season. And weirdly also the reaping season? Like I said above, I have three different titles coming out this winter! Will there come a season where I catch a break? Who’s to say?
I’ve also been watching my friend play the new Life is Strange game, and it’s really good, in my opinion. It’s making me weirdly nostalgic for the time in my life when the very first LiS game came out. I’ve been on quite the journey in the past decade. Here’s to the next decade of lesbian gaming lol
