How Could You official release date

How Could You, coming December 17 ❤️🔥
It’s finally time. I finished coloring my book and The Mary Sue has officially announced my book to the world! Complete with a publication date!!

“How Could You is for anyone who made mistakes, who spoke unkindly, who was selfish, who lost friends, who lost themselves. It’s for people stumbling into adulthood, carrying guilt over faux pas, betrayal, and not making amends when you could. I hope this book finds you and tells you you’re not alone.”
-Me, I said this, it’s in this article by The Mary Sue
You can go read all about my book and look at some sneak peek pages at that article. The book is still getting lettered (by Catskullery). I have to make back of the book content (just 4 pages, nothing crazy) and also some promo stuff. Gotta raise the hype for the next 9 months. When the pre-order is live, share it lots, ok? :)
Btw I have returned my 18+ Griddlehark comic to itch.io
I was really shy about it and hid it behind Patreon for the past year or so, but I re-read it recently and I liked it. So it’s back! (There’s still an older 18+ Griddlehark comic that remains Patreon exclusive… but Hands On is out there, baby.)
Read it and download it here. Should I put it on my portfolio website? I dunno. Maybe I’m still too shy for that lol
Back from ECCC, going to Squatchcon next!
Hello to you beautiful creatures who signed up for my newsletter at ECCC this year 👋 It was my first time using my email sign up sheet at an event, and it went pretty well! Thank you! Emerald City is my favorite con of all time, and I always have a blast. I love getting to talk and meet new people and hear compliments. It’s an ego rush ngl. But also I’m always so honored to be a part of others’ journeys, and when people tell me my comics changed their life (or gender) it goes in the little box in my head and heart that I save for rainy days <3
ECCC lets me share the space with other extremely talented, passionate, and smart creative people, and I look forward to it every single year. As far as actual tabling goes, I wish I had brought more inventory. I had no idea it would be as busy as it was. I’m going through a bit of growing pain re: ordering enough inventory and being stocked, both in person and online. Kinda hard to wrap my head around the fact that people are willing to buy the stuff I make. Even though it’s my job. What the heck.
I’ll be going to Squatchcon for my next event! En and I love the Olympic Peninsula, it’s just so freakin gorgeous up there. And we wanted to do some smaller events because not everyone can make it to the big shows. We’ll also be at Reed College for the Reed Zine Fest on March 30 for a brand new one day event focused on zines!
There’s lots more shows this year that we’ll be doing. Since this is my first year fully working for myself as an artist, I want to give it my all! We’re gonna be doing more local events, along with C2E2 and Flamecon. Maybe even… NYCC?? If they let us. See you out there!
This email is not my normal end-of-month round up recap, so there’s no sweet treat links to conclude on. You’ll just have to wait for my next email.
ok bye!
